Mechanical Contracting Project Manager Engineer Assistant

Project Manager Engineer is responsible for assisting the Avonda Air Systems project managers and estimator by coordinating and monitoring activities concerned with renovation or construction of mechanical systems to include heating, air-conditioning, ventilation, plumbing and other manners of construction. You will assist in organization, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation of projects of a variety of scales.

Job Requirements
• Practical working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Strong math skills required
• Ability to multi-task, and employ follow-through to goal achievement
• Able to competently represent self and company in client business meetings
• Attention to detail
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong work ethic
• Experience with Timberlane/Sage a plus
• Track budgets to include materials costs, labor hours and dollars
• Prepare post project O&M manuals
• Prepare project submittals
• Create change orders
• Project billing, including AIA billing
• Expedite and track deliveries of major equipment/materials
• Create and maintain project punch lists
• Record keeping for jobs as required by General Contractors
• Submit schedule of values as required by General Contractors
• Ability to manage schedules, communicate goals, and direct the activities of work force as directed by Project Managers
• Material quotes and purchasing
• Other duties as assigned
