PROJECT ARCHITECT

Masterson Studio is a seeking a team member for our office located in the vibrant Georgetown neighborhood of Seattle. We a small firm focused on custom residential, and some restaurant  projects. The job description will be ever evolving depending on the day, and responsibilities and design contributions will grow as proficiency is demonstrated. 

QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of experience in a professional office 
• Experience with custom residential 
• Experience with all phases of the design process 
• Experience with wood frame construction
• Knowledge of building and land use code and the ability to perform code analysis 
• Knowledge of the parts of construction documents and specifications 
• M-Arch or B-Arch in Architecture 
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office programs required
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Sketchup preferred 
• Excellent communications skills
• Enjoy working collaboratively
• Strong work ethic 

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participation in all phases of the design process:
  • Predesign
  • code research
  • Schematic design 
  • design development
  • Construction documents 
  • Construction Administration
• Consultant coordination 
• Permit document preparation & submittals
