Pet boarding can be a high-stress environment. Must be able to handle a variety of stressful situations including barking dogs.

The best candidates will love and respect all animals and be willing to care for the Hilltop furry/feathered guests as if they are your own.

Candidates MUST be reliable and willing to work weekends and holidays.

MUST have reliable transportation and child care, if applicable.

Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds.

Caring for pets (dogs, cats, and other family pets such as rabbitts, birds, guinea pigs, etc) is the primary focus. This job involves a lot of walking, bending, squatting, and standing for long periods of time.

This job also requires a lot of cleaning guest rooms/condos and disinfecting the facility multiple times each day. In addition to sweeping and mopping, this job also involves scooping dog poop, cleaning cat litter boxes, and taking care of and cleaning up after the occasional sick pet.

Candidates MUST be proficient in reading/writing and speaking the English language.

Candidates MUST be able to interact with coworkers and clients in a positive and professional manner.

Attention to detail is critical.

Pet care experience is preferred, but not required. We are happy to train someone who has a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $11.00 - $14.00 per hour
