Painter
The Role:
Pro Works Painting is looking for motivated individuals who want to take their painting career to the next level to join our rapidly growing team! Pro Works specializes in both interior and exterior re-paints, as well as new construction, apartment buildings, townhouse complexes, and residential homes. This season alone, our team will be responsible for painting 75-100 homes, in addition to numerous other projects.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Preparation of surfaces, including scraping, sanding, cleaning and priming surfaces
Site protection and masking of necessary areas prior to painting
Professional cutting in and edging
Using a sprayer or brush and roller to paint a variety of substrates including but not limited to: drywall, wood trimming and fascia, stucco, wood siding, concrete, and aluminum
Removal and installation of hardware and fixtures
General cleanup of job site
Converse with clients on the job site to establish needs and ensure overall satisfaction
Who You Are:
Minimum 1 year of painting experience required
Positive, team player
Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to different job sites in the lower mainland
Comfortable working from ladders
Strong communication skills
Background working in the trades would be considered an asset
Lift ticket (ability to operate boom and scissor lifts) is also an asset
