Nanny

NEW YORK, NY (LOCAL CANDIDATES PREFERRED): Lovely Bronxville family searching for a responsible and active FULL-TIME, LIVE-OUT nanny to care for their 16-month-old son and future infant (Mom is expecting their second child in December). Care will be primarily for their 16-month-old who is adventurous, energetic, and outgoing. Care for both children will be expected and transitioned to later in 2024. Someone who is fun and enjoys outdoor activities and play-learning will do well in this position. Preference for candidates who have experience caring for infants and toddlers simultaneously. The home is kept clean and tidy and the family would appreciate assistance with maintaining this. 

Mom will be starting contract work in the fall and will be in the home most of the time. The schedule will be roughly 9am - 5pm, Monday-Friday. Ideally, the nanny will be open to date nights and occasional extra hours/overnights as needed and discussed (including 2-3 overnights while parents are at the hospital in December for delivery). 

 Duties include but are not limited to full care for their son, which will involve light cooking, cleaning, and tidying. A family car will be provided for occasional errands and drop-offs/pick-ups to Toddler Time; a driver’s license and clean driving record is required. The family has one small dog in the home; must be able to be around pets. Vaccinations required (TDAP, Flu, Covid + Boosters). 

The family lives in a leafy and walkable neighborhood. Plenty of points of interest within walking distance, including downtown. Walking to parks and activities is encouraged! The family also summers on Kiawah Island, SC from July-August and hopes the nanny would join them during this time. The nanny will be provided with private accommodations while traveling. 

The target start date is ASAP. Pay is $30-$35, based on experience, gross pay via payroll. Paid Sick Days, Holidays, and Vacation included.
