AIKEN, SC (LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY): Dual-working Aiken family searching for an organized, dependable FULL-TIME, LIVE-OUT nanny for their 5-year-old son and newborn arriving in February of 2024! They are hoping to find someone who is looking for a long-term commitment, is organized and honest, and flexible with their schedule. Bilingual would be a plus! Overall, they want someone who is safe, honest, and experienced and is seeking a long-term commitment. 

Due to the parents’ demanding careers, below is the current work schedule:

Monday: 8am-4:30pm

Tuesday - Wednesday: 6:30am-5pm

Thursday - Friday: 8am-4pm

Primary care will be for the newborn as their older son is in school from 7/7:50am-2:20pm. Dad has long work hours most days while Mom works outside of the home Tuesday and Wednesday, and is working from home Monday, Thursday, and Friday. Both Mom and Dad travel occasionally for work; flexibility will be appreciated and returned! Some days Mom will want to stay home with the baby while the nanny picks up their older son, and vice versa. Each day may have a slightly different schedule, but hours will be guaranteed. 

Duties will include but are not limited to full care for an infant throughout the day, driving the eldest son to and from school, as well as after-school activities.  Must have your own reliable vehicle, a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. Age-appropriate activities and learning, as well as light meal prep may be required for the oldest son. Light laundry and cleaning primarily surrounding the children’s area, although anything additional is appreciated!

The family lives in a quiet, suburban neighborhood with ample parking and walkability. A lovely polo field is nearby and an enjoyable point of interest! The family owns a second home in NC and will visit there often; the nanny will have the opportunity to travel with the family! 

Start date is February 2024. Annual Flu, Covid, Covid booster and TDAP required. Mileage will be reimbursed for any miles driven on the job. Hourly pay is $25/hour (pre-overtime) gross pay via payroll. Paid sick days, paid vacation, and pair major holidays included.
