A laid-back family of three based in San Francisco is seeking an independent and engaging nanny/family assistant to join their family team!

Location: San Francisco, CA
Ages of children: 2.5 years old
Start date/Contract dates: As soon as they find the right fit!
Schedule: Full-time, guaranteeing 40-45 hours per week with the general schedule falling on Monday through Friday from 11am-7pm. Flexibility for travel will be asked in advance and appreciated!
Compensation: The family is offering $40-45/hour based on the 40-45 hour/week schedule, which equates to an annualized base compensation of $85-110k/year range dependent on experience and the agreed-upon schedule. The family may be open to candidates seeking a higher compensation package commensurate with experience.
Benefits: The family is open to providing benefits including paid time off, paid holidays, health insurance and/or a health insurance stipend, and relocation assistance based on candidate need and the full benefits package.
Live-in/Live-out: Live-out: The family is happy to provide a temporary landing pad and/or housing stipend for the perfect relocation candidate.

Household dynamic:
These kind and relaxed first-time parents are excited to work with a nanny for the first time! Their daughter is 2.5 years old and loves to read and play. She attends school on weekday mornings until 12:30, so the morning hours will focus predominantly on family assisting duties.
The family works with a full-time personal assistant and looks forward to integrating a nanny/family assistant into their family team! ??Both parents work outside of the home during the day and a candidate who is autonomous will excel in this role. They have spent extensive time traveling in the past year, including two months in the beautiful coastal town of Big Sur. A candidate who embraces extended travel and is excited to support the family as they travel throughout the year will be appreciated!

Ideal candidate:
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, is eager to find new activities to enjoy with their toddler, and is proactive in suggesting changes and improvements. The family is looking forward to working with a candidate who can jump into their role with confidence and professionalism, and be a trusted partner in caring for their child and household!
Responsibilities include light child-related housekeeping, children’s meal prep, picking up the child from school and coordinating after-school activities, as well as family assisting tasks like organizing, grocery shopping, and daily tidying. A candidate who is excited to pitch in where needed will thrive in the role for years to come!
While not a requirement for the role, the family would love to work with a candidate who speaks Spanish, Italian, Hebrew, or Mandarin.

Qualifications:
Valid driver’s license
Valid passport
Fully vaccinated and boosted (when eligible) against COVID-19 prior to starting date in accordance with applicable laws
While not a requirement for the role, comfortability preparing basic meals
Family assisting experience
3 years of professional childcare experience
Knowledge and experience with age-appropriate developmental milestones
