Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze medical claims for accuracy and completeness
- Ensure claims are processed in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Verify patient information, insurance coverage, and medical codes
- Investigate and resolve claim discrepancies or denials
- Communicate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients regarding claim status and payment issues
- Maintain accurate documentation of claims processing activities
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely resolution of claims

Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of medical billing, coding, and terminology
- Proficiency in ICD-10 and other medical coding systems
- Familiarity with medical collection processes and procedures
- Experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting
- Ability to navigate electronic medical records systems
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Salary: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Education:

Experience:

  • Medical Billing: 1 year (Required)
  • OR Degree/Certification in Medical Billing
