Medical Assistant

NY Metro Sleep, located in Hutchinson Metro Center, specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders. Our office is dedicated towards providing our patients with the latest in sleep technology and a comprehensive care plan that ensures patients will get a restful night's sleep. Under direction of our Office Manager, our Medical Assistants perform administrative duties and will serve as an integral part of our healthcare team.

We are open every Monday - Friday from 9AM - 5PM, but we are also looking for candidates that could be available for Saturday shifts. Please submit your resume, and if we feel that you meet the criteria, we will contact you to arrange an in-person interview.

Responsibilities:

• Insurance verification
• Scheduling patients for appointments
• Answering patients calls and transferring to appropriate department if applicable
• Calling patients to confirm scheduled appointments

Qualifications:

• 1 Year of Experience as a Medical Assistant
• Strong communication skills
• Exceptional customer service
• Preferred: Experience with electronic medical records (preferably eClinical Works)
• Preferred but not required: Fluent in Spanish
