At RAI Media Inc., we specialize in digital advertising and marketing services, particularly in streaming audio, digital display, and radio ads for small businesses in the U.S. Originally a radio broadcast advertising company, RAI Media, Inc. is at the forefront of establishing the industry benchmark for B2B sales and advertising.

We help small businesses increase their revenue through programmatic advertising and improving their online presence. Our sales reps drive the growth of our company by contacting small businesses to unlock their unique marketing needs, selling a suite of content, and advertising products and services.

This is a full-time on-site role for an inside sales representative. We are looking for driven, self-motivated individuals, willing to challenge themselves to grow as salespeople. Sales Representatives will be responsible for conducting sales activities, such as establishing and maintaining relationships with customers, offering product solutions, and closing sales. No college degree is required for this role This role is based in Chicago, IL, but will also be available for remote positions.

Qualifications

  • Interpersonal skills, including building rapport and maintaining a positive attitude
  • Proven track record in meeting sales targets
  • Strong ability to sell and close deals
  • Ability to handle rejection
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Desire to learn and grow as a salesperson
  • Experience in sales and telemarketing is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Selling streaming audio advertisements and digital display ads to businesses all over the country
  • Cold calling and presenting our products to business owners and decision-makers
  • Calling up to 150 customers a day, setting up callbacks, and sending follow-up emails to potential leads
  • Taking payments over the phone after successful sales
  • Using Database Builder (our company CRM) to search for leads (all leads will be provided)
  • Engaging in frequent training with managers to develop phone pitches

There will be a 3-week paid training period ($20/hr), and after the training period, it will be determined whether to continue full-time or part-time.
