Makerspace Manager

Are you a creative individual with experience in CAD, digital design, 3D printing, laser cutting, crafts, kids, basic robotics and electronics, coding and product or toy design? Do you have has excellent organizational and teaching skills?  Are you Interested in a big role in a small successful maker focused education organization? Dazzling Discoveries and Skill Mill NYC (two names, one company) , is a Manhattan, NY based science and engineering education program and makerspace.  We have an opening for a makerspace manager to run our Skill Mill NYC facility and work as an educator in our camp, after school and school visits programs. In our Skill Mill NYC facility we run engineering programs for children using laser cutting, 3D printing, digital design, sewing, electronics, micro-controllers, robotics, science and crafts. We focus on engaging children in all aspects of “making” through after school classes and day camp programs.
