Rogue Psych Consultants is looking for dedicated Psychologists and Licensed Clinical Social Workers to provide consultation and deliver mental health services within Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living, and Residential Care Facilities in Eugene, Salem, Portland and Bend.
Job Description:
Conduct individual therapy sessions, perform diagnostics, and develop comprehensive treatment plans.
Offer support to caregivers and provide interventions for families.
Review and assess psychotropic medications for effective symptom management.
Conduct risk assessments as needed.
Collaborate closely with facility staff.
Work in partnership with various healthcare professionals, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, RNs, CNAs, Social Services, and Providers.
Maintain accurate documentation in the facility's Electronic Health Record System.
Qualifications:
Hold a current Oregon License - PhD, PsyD, or LCSW.
Possess experience in geriatric care or a strong desire to gain such experience.
Proficiency in conducting diagnostic interviews and developing treatment plans.
Previous experience in primary care or a medical setting is preferred.
Experience working with interdisciplinary teams is preferred.
Ability to commute to facilities.

We offer timely consultation and guidance to help facility staff better identify and address the mental health needs of residents.
Founder, Dr. Evan Alvord spent 14 years working in Home Based Primary Care at the VA Hospital in Southern Oregon. Through this work he noted the limits of mental health care in senior living and residential care settings, despite significant need. In 2018, he started Rogue Psych in order to expand mental health services to all facility residents. Rogue Psych has contracts with multiple companies throughout Oregon and is expanding to meet the significant need.
