Our teachers must be able to:
- meet the qualifications required by Washoe County licensing
- support our program using "learning through play" philosophy
- communicate effectively and professionally
- comply with our employment policies
Requirements
- Continuously maintain licensing requirements, including state approved on-going trainings
- Energetic, child-friendly personality
- Strong communication skills (verbal & written)
- Physically capable of performing all job duties
- Team player
- Highly organized and punctual
Nice to Haves
- Degree in Early Childhood Education or Human Development and Family Studies
- One year of teaching experience in a preschool setting
- Current Washoe County Sheriff's Card or Memo of Eligibility
- Current negative TB test
- Current CPR & First Aid
- Current Nevada Registry Certificate
