To be considered for this role, a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred Travel is minimal but may be required. Important knowledge and experience needed for this role include:
Must have good interpersonal skills and willing to work with others effectively Must be pro-active and be able to create good working relationships with both the customer and peers Must have excellent computer skills Knowledge or proficiency in SolidWorks is a must. Some experience with AUTOCAD is a plus.
High proficiency with Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Due to the nature of the work being done all applicants must be U.S. permanent resident or citizen.

JR. Mechanical Engineer job in Boca Raton, FL is currently available at Janus Automation Group LLC - JAG CONVEYORS & ROBOTICS located at 990 S Rogers Circle, STE 1.
This is a direct, full-time position with benefits. To be considered for this role, it is preferred if you have a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.

JR. Mechanical Engineer job duties:
• Develop 3D SolidWorks models and production drawings for fabrication
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, etc. to ensure part design meets all customer requirements
• Perform calculations on proposed conceptual/preliminary designs
• Evaluate production process capability of Mechanical Systems and Externals components and propose changes to improve part yield and/or decrease cost or weight
• Evaluate non-conforming hardware to determine whether parts are acceptable for fielded use
• Coordinate with product development teams to ensure accurate creation of part prints that meet design intent
• Provide on-site engineer tech and build support, as required.
