Start an exciting career on the ground floor of a rapidly growing technology company serving small and medium-sized clients in the Rocky Mountain region.  We have an immediate opening for an IT Support Specialist based in our Wheat Ridge office in the Denver suburbs.  DilSe.IT (http://dilse.it) is a 15 year old company which recently received a new round of investment capital to focus on growth.  Our company name “Dil Se” (p. dill-say) means “with love” in the Hindi language.  Our name embodies how we treat our clients, employees, and other stakeholders.

 

Primary responsibilities:

 

  • Troubleshoot and provide support to clients via phone, support ticketing system, and remote monitoring and management software.
  • Support a range of open-source technologies including UniFi and other networking environments, Hikvision surveillance systems, Microsoft Windows, Apple Mac, Android, and Apple iOS endpoints.

 

Secondary responsibilities

 

  • Configure and stage equipment for installation.
  • Manage inventory and assist with data center projects.
  • Provide on-site support at client locations.

 

We’re looking for someone who:

 

  • Possesses strong problem-solving skills for efficient resolution of software and hardware issues.
  • Exhibits excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with end-users.
  • Can manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Can remain calm in stressful situations.
  • Has a solid understanding of networking fundamentals and concepts.
  • Bonus:  Has past experience working in a fast-paced retail or restaurant environment or has previously served clients in these industries.
  • Bonus:  Proficient in scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Perl for task automation.
  • Bonus:  Interest in open-source technologies such as Apache, Nginx, MySQL/MariaDB, PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
  • Optional: Holds certifications like CompTIA Network+, Security+, Linux+, Microsoft 365 Fundamentals / Administrator.
  • Optional: Has a two-year or four-year degree in computer science, computer information systems, or related technical field.
