Installation Technician
Berconi Interior Plants and Design is looking for a responsible, reliable Installation Tech to join our team. The ideal candidate must have a positive attitude and be willing to learn the various skills of our trade. While experience is a plus, we are willing to train the right candidate.
Our Installation Technicians are responsible for ensuring proper and timely installation of interior and exterior plants, flowers, planters, and much more for our commercial clients.
Other common tasks and responsibilities include:
Driving box trucks and commercial vans, especially in city/downtown areas
Must be able to follow GPS directions
Must be able to follow written instructions for specific task details at each job location
Must be able to lift 20 lb.+ and/or push 40-50 lb. water machines, pallet jacks, and other equipment
Must be able to climb ladders comfortably
Must be able to use scissors, pruners, hand saws, hoses and other tools
Must have a satisfactory safe driving record
Must be able to professionally communicate with clients and have a neat, clean appearance
At times, this position can require strenuous work in which a candidate may need to be climbing, balancing, kneeling, reaching, lifting, and working hours in varying warehouse, indoor, outdoor and/or commercial office conditions. During the holidays, we work very hard to bring joy to the region through our holiday decor, designed and installed by our talented team.
Our ideal candidate should be able to handle all aspects of the installation process. Most importantly- they must always arrive ready to work and willing to support their team by any means necessary. Positivity is essential!
