Journey Home Houston is a Christian non-profit transitional living program for young ladies who have aged out of foster care. Our mission is to provide a safe and supportive environment where these young women can thrive and prepare for independent living.

Job Description:

The House Manager plays a crucial role in providing in-house support and guidance to the young ladies at Journey Home Houston. They are responsible for ensuring the well-being and safety of the residents, as well as providing transportation to work, school, and church.

Responsibilities:

Provide emotional support and guidance to residents
Ensure the safety and security of the house and its residents
Transport residents to work, school, and church as needed
Maintain a positive and respectful environment within the house
Assist residents with daily living tasks as needed
Keep accurate records of resident activities and progress
Communicate effectively with program staff and external partners
Attend regular staff meetings and training sessions

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field (preferred)
Experience working with young adults or in a residential setting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Must be able to live on campus
