The Service Technician is responsible for safely providing high quality and effective repair of equipment and provides excellent customer service, maintains professionalism, and ensures appropriate and detailed records for time, parts, supplies, purchases and repairs.
Position: Technician - Shop / Field
Job Type: Full-time
Work Location: Based in the DFW area (Periodic travel may apply for Field Technicians)
Normal Schedule: 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday – Friday (assigned hours based on workload)
Pay Frequency: Weekly

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Reconditions and repairs equipment and components.
• Maintains complete and detailed working records for time, parts, supplies, and outside purchases for repairs.
• Maintains and cares for company assets.
• Interacts with customers and co-workers on a daily basis.
• Accountable for following all applicable Company, Local, State and Federal rules and regulations including but not limited to those of OSHA, MSHA, DOT.
• Ability to diagnose electrical and hydraulic failures, including the use of schematics.
• Proficient in the use and application of test and diagnostic equipment such as laptop, multi-meter and pressure gauges.
• Ability to perform basic fabrication and welding processes.
Desired Skills and Experience:
• High School diploma, GED or vocational training/certification.
• 5 years’ experience in the same or similar industry.
• Knowledgeable and experienced with hydraulics, electrical, electronic systems, pneumatics, diagnostics and calibration.
• Owns and maintains personal tool inventory.
• Mechanical/technical aptitude, safe work habits, a good working knowledge of equipment operations and mechanical functions. Works with minimal supervision, customer service oriented, a problem solver, reliable, ethical, able to adapt to the people and environment around them.
• Communicates professionally, respectfully and honestly at all times and communication is to be clear and language is to be profanity free while employee demeanor is to be calm and composed.
