Position Summary
Using their technical expertise, creativity, and composition skills, the Graphic Designer will produce engaging and on-brand graphics for a variety of mediums with the goal of inspiring and attracting donors and volunteers.
Essential Responsibilities
- Adhere to and emulate PAWS’ Core Values in all that you do; must conduct yourself as an ambassador of PAWS displaying a proper cultural fit within the organization
- Design donor materials including newsletters and appeals
- Design brochures, flyers, invitations, postcards, greeting cards, images for web, social media content, merchandise and other communication materials
- Prepress all printed materials and coordinate with printer and mail house
- Maintain and enforce PAWS branding standards
- Capture and edit photographs and videos for both internal and external use
- Keep inventory of PAWS printed collateral, including envelopes, letterhead, business cards, etc. and place orders when necessary
- Other duties as assigned
Non-Essential Responsibilities
- Support other team members with events, tours, mailings, etc.
Supervision Received
- Specific Direction - Follows established work procedures. Receives periodic checks for performance. Refers unique questions/conditions to immediate supervisor

Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or related field
- 1-2 years of experience in Graphic Design
- Photography/Videography experience (preferred)
Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite
- Ability to effectively manage competing deadlines
- Strong project management and time management skills
