Whether you’re looking for OSHA or HIPAA compliance courses, or a platform to upload your own training unique to your business, our Learning Management System (LMS) ensures employees receive process and procedure training that’s easily accessible, uniform, and effective to deliver outstanding retention.

DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for someone who is creative and willing to learn new things and adapt to their position. We need someone with an eye for design and the ability to notice detail as well as be able to meet the deadlines. Smart Training creates custom online training courses as well as uploads existing courses for our clients. Projects should be completed in a timely manner and be consistent with other courses in design. Courses should be professional, and the designs should flow and help the client understand the content being presented to them.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Content Creation: Take the content provided by the writer/narrator and combine it along with photos and other design elements to create effective, consistent, and professional training courses.
• Navigate the LMS: Become familiar with our Smart Training LMS (learning management system), finish the creation of the courses, and upload them to the system. This will require you to know how to navigate our system’s training converter which may include additional features such as quiz questions, documents, narration, etc. You will also test new and existing courses and fix any problems you may find.
• Design Projects as Needed: Assist in other projects such as creating flyers, templates, product images, etc. These projects will be on an as-needed basis.
• Client Communication: Professionally and efficiently communicate with clients via email, phone, and video call to properly understand their needs and help them use the LMS to upload their content and when requested to create custom content for them

REQUIREMENTS:
• Possess the following character traits: honest, dependable, friendly, able to receive constructive feedback, learn material quickly, willing to ask for help, use best judgement to go forward without waiting to be told, self-starter, and self-motivated. Experience is beneficial, but not a replacement for the above character traits.
• Attention to detail: Designers must have an eye for catching small errors and inconsistencies.
• Creative mindset: You must be willing to adapt to innovative design trends.
• Communication skills: You must be able to confer advice and suggestions from clients, as well as understand what they want.
• Time management skills: You'll often find that you are juggling several projects simultaneously.
• Teamwork skills: Designers must be able to collaborate and be professional when working with the design team and other co-workers.
• Technical skills: A knowledge of both typography and color theory is critical.

SKILLS:
• High school graduate
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically PowerPoint
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat (PDF)
• Proficiency in judgment and problem-solving
• Must have strong communication skills and the ability to build strong customer relationships
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
• Ability to adapt, multi-task, and organize work priorities

EXPERIENCE:
• No specific work experience is required, but past work as a graphic designer is preferred.
