General Laborer
We are looking to hire new employees, for our General Laborer/Equipment Operator positions! Looking for employees who can be on time and will not be afraid to get in a ditch and use a shovel!
Requirements: This position will include cleaning and preparing job sites, loading and delivering materials and using a variety of tools and machines. General Laborers/Equipment Operators must have physical strength, hand-eye coordination, and endurance. Laborers must also be able to concentrate on their tasks. The ability to understand and communicate information is also essential.
There are no minimum educational requirements to be a general laborer. Equipment Operators should have experience with operating skid steers, mini excavators, track hoes, etc. The ability to read grade sticks and blueprints is a plus!
Physical Requirements: Must be able to physically perform the basic life operational functions of climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions. Must be able to perform medium work exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Must possess the visual acuity to operate equipment and motor vehicles, perform trades tasks, inspect the work of others, and review work for accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness.
Special Requirement: Must present Valid Driver’s License to drive company vehicle.
