Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Fence Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing various types of fences, ensuring precision and quality in every project. The Fence Installer will collaborate with the team to deliver exceptional customer satisfaction and meet project deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Installation of Fences:
- Measure and mark fence lines according to project specifications.
- Install various wood type of fences, including picket, rail, split rail, hog panel.
- Dig post holes, set posts in concrete, and secure rails and pickets.
- Material Handling:
- Unload and organize materials at the job site.
- Cut, shape, and assemble fence components using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Ensure the proper storage and care of tools and equipment.
- Quality Assurance:
- Inspect finished fence installations for quality and adherence to design specifications.
- Make adjustments as needed to ensure a secure and visually appealing finished product.
- Customer Interaction:
- Communicate with clients to understand their specific fence installation requirements.
- Provide professional and courteous service while addressing client questions and concerns.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects efficiently.
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a secure working environment.
- Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of project details, including materials used, time spent, and any challenges encountered.
- Complete necessary paperwork for each project, including invoices and work orders.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Fence Installer or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of various fencing materials, tools, and installation techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret design specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in measurements and installations.
- Physical fitness and stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating heavy equipment (e.g., post hole diggers, saws, drills).
