QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Can type 50 words or more per minute
  • Exemplary communication skills Spanish a plus not required
  • Strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail
  • Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with our contractors and homeowners.
  • High-level written and spoken/oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability
  • Emotional maturity
  • Highly resourceful team player, with the ability to also be extremely effective independently
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various competing demands, and demonstrate the highest level of customer/client service and response
  • Ability to use DocuSign to complete and send client contracts
  • Ability to set up a CRM and operate it
  • Some AI & Chat GPT understanding a plus not required
  • Social Media Marketing Experience a plus not required
  • Creating and managing clients Constrution projects charts
  • Communication updates to homeowners we are building ADU’S for. Mostly text & email. Occasionally phone calls.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve high-performance goals and meet deadlines
  • Communicating with contractors, City/County Jurisdiction’s to ensure project flow
  • Forward-looking thinker, who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) Adobe Acrobat, Google Suite, and other software
  • Scheduling guests that have signed up to be interviewed for Power Conversations Podcast
  • Assist with event planning
  • Manage my calendar and emails
  • Make suggestions of things that could be delegated or removed from the schedule in order to maximize contribution to the team
  • Manage communication channels
  • Manage email, and phone messages
  • Respond in a pleasant and timely manner
  • Make sure appropriate information gets communicated
  • Serve as a liaison for communication with team members when needed
  • Develop and implement systems to make all processes flow smoothly. Always searching and studying to make processes better.
     

ABOUT THE EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT:

The Executive Assistant to Sigmund Valentine will play a vital role in the success of SoCal-ADUP------------ and Power Conversations Podcast. This role reports to Sigmund Valentine and their main objective is to clear his path of nonessential tasks and decisions.

The candidate should be a Type A personality: competitive, highly organized, ambitious, impatient, highly aware of time management, or aggressive. Candidate must embrace their role/position and believe with their contribution’s to success they can benefit in unimaginable ways.

The ideal candidate would feel excited, motivated and inspired to a role that supports Sigmund, brings value to the company, and creates a position for themselves that Sigmund nor the company can do without. Sigmund wants the Assistant, per their high level performance, to force him and the company to increase hourly pay and include bonuses.
 

THE EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT’S RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • The Executive Assistant would oversee Sigmund’s calendar and schedule, be involved in communication and relationship management, be a proactive problem solver
  • Prioritize the ideal calendar.
  • Prioritize the Sigmund’s goals and priorities.
  • Ensure that the right people get the help they need
  • Connect the right people to the schedule.
  • Redirect people to the person on staff who can most help them.
  • Make suggestions of things that could be delegated or removed from the schedule in order to maximize contribution to the team
  • Manage communication channels
  • Manage email, and phone messages.
  • Respond in a pleasant and timely manner.
  • Make sure appropriate information gets to Sigmund
  • Serve as a liaison for communication with team members when needed.
  • Develop and implement systems from Sigmund’s office
  • Attend key meetings and capture notes and key follow up items
  • Visit City/County jurisdictions to submit or pick up plans
  • Ensure projects stay on track and meet deadlines
  • Gain hands-on experience in marketing projects and contribute to organizational success
  • Edit and proofread marketing materials for accuracy and consistency
  • Ability to deal with clients anxious to have their ADU built. Great communication skills required.

COMPENSATION:

  • $20 per hour
  • 30-40 hour weeks
  • Pay bi-weekly
  • 45 days later candidates performance will be evaluated for an increase in pay $2.50-$5.00
  • 90 day probationary period evaluation for raise.
  • Depending on candidates performance within 3 years candidate can expect $60,000-$75,000 which includes bonuseS. All salary increases will be based on performance
  • Candidate will be 1099
  • Within 90-180 days company will decide W-2 status with insurance
  • Position is remote with some travel in Riverside, San Bernardino
  • In office will be discussed and decided after 90 days

The Executive Assistant will go thru a 90 day training. After training candidate will be eligible for increase in pay or bonuses.

  • $15-$20 per hour to start, 45 days later candidates performance will be evaluated for an increase in pay $2.50-$5.00, 90 day raise evaluation within 3 years candidate can expect $60,000-$75,000 which includes bonuses
