Economic Support Specialist – Call Center/Ongoing Caseworker


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide information and determine eligibility for categorical aids available through public assistance; interpret and apply federal and state laws and regulations, policy and procedures to individual case circumstances in order to meet the needs of low-income families. This will be primarily a Call Center position, answering phone calls received from the Northern Income Maintenance Consortium Call Center, but may also be assigned to ongoing case management.
 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Two-year post-secondary education in business or human services and three years experience dealing with the public, or equivalent combination of training and experience. Must be proficient in computer skills including Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, internet and e-mail.
 

Wage is $19.60/hour with a five day, 35 hour work-week. Competitive fringe benefits package.
