$1,500.00 sign on bonus

FUNCTION: To provide assessments, service planning, coordinate interviewing of new possible clinicians, communicate, coordinate, and meet with community entities to promote all agency programs. Supervise and manage ongoing caseloads of clinicians, facilitate meetings, and communicate with community resources to build program. Monitor and supervise clinicians regarding documentation and conduct trainings for clinicians. Clinical supervisor will assist with MHSS, IIH and Outpatient Counseling programs.

Education and Experience

Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a Masters degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field from an accredited college or university; four years of experience providing mental health treatment to troubled children and families; two years of experience providing clinical supervision to treatment staff.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities

Thorough knowledge of principles and techniques of Crescent Counseling and Casework Services (CCCS); thorough knowledge of principles and techniques of basic interviewing and assessment skills; working knowledge of human services system, roles of human services personnel, and relevant community resources; ability to conduct and facilitate meetings; ability to form effective supervisory relationship with subordinate staff; ability to maintain effective working relationships with other social services providers, service purchasers, and clients; ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Director must have the ability to communicate, plan and actively be involved in marketing of CCCS.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Assists the Clinical Director with the design and development of the clinical aspects of program services.

· Meets every other week with program QMHP’s to provide clinical guidance, assesses dynamics and needs of each case, determines the appropriateness of therapeutic strategies, and assess progress of service delivery and planning plans and facilitates bi-monthly peer supervision meetings.

· Reviews all client files ensure proper and complete documentation of actions and services.

· Assists the Clinical Director in appraising staff performance.

· Manages a caseload of Outpatient Clients, providing services on an intensive basis and utilizing short-term, solution focused treatment strategies. [if needed]

· Prepares written diagnostic assessments, assessing clients from multiple perspectives, including family functioning, psychological/emotional, social, academic, medical, behavioral, substance abuse, skills, strengths, and barriers to economic self-sufficiency, treatment history, and others, and utilizing various assessment instruments.

· Facilitates wraparound team meetings to enlist existing supports in determining and meeting service objectives and to identify additional resources and supports.

· Prepares written service plan, incorporating input from clients, involved service providers, and wraparound team members, and clearly identifying problem areas and needs, strategies, and service objectives.

· Provides direct clinical services to clients, including individual, family, couple, and group therapy, and issue-specific or educational groups (parenting skills, anger management, substance abuse interventions).

· Responds to crisis situations with twenty-four hour a day availability. [if needed]

· Documents case activities for both clinical and billing purposes. Prepares progress reports as required by referral source or service purchaser.

· Collaborates and coordinates with other case involved service providers and professionals, such as attorneys, school personnel, social workers, and probation counselors.

· Links clients with external programs or services, such as health services, recreational activities, childcare services, financial resources, employment resources, childcare, AA/NA groups, transportation resources, and others.

· Attends court hearings when families are court-involved and presents testimony and treatment recommendations as requested by attorneys, referral source, the court, or clients. [If needed]

· Community partnership with other agencies to market and grow program clientele. [Referrals]

· Assist with other duties as assigned by Clinical Director and/or upper management.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
