Certified Teacher

Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities and lesson plans for children in a daycare or preschool setting.
- Create a nurturing and stimulating environment to promote the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of young children.
- Provide individualized attention and support to meet the unique needs of each child.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to share updates on their child's progress and address any concerns.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to ensure a cohesive and enriching learning experience for all students.
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment, following all health and safety regulations.
- Assess student performance and provide feedback to guide their learning and development.
- Incorporate technology, hands-on activities, and creative teaching methods to engage students in the learning process.

Skills:

- Experience working with young children in a daycare or preschool setting.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to develop age-appropriate lesson plans and curriculum that align with childhood development principles.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage classroom activities, materials, and student records.
- Flexibility to adapt teaching strategies based on individual student needs.
- Knowledge of tutoring techniques to provide additional support for students who may require it.

Expected hours: 30 – 42 per week
