Associate Veterinarian

Lahontan Valley Veterinary Clinic (LVVC) is a mixed animal practice located in Fallon, NV. Fallon has a population of roughly 10,000 people and offers rural living. However, Reno, NV is a convenient 50 minute car ride away and beautiful Lake Tahoe is also nearby for a day-trip getaway. We are currently an 8-doctor practice seeking a new veterinarian as we bid farewell to a current doctor as she begins a new chapter. We have been in the community for over 30 years and pride ourselves on serving Fallon and the surrounding rural areas. We are a progressive clinic up-to-date on the latest in medicine with a goal to not forget who we are at heart…Fallon’s local country vet.

Currently, our practice is 80% small animals (dogs and cats) with the other 20% being equine and agriculture. Fallon is an agriculture community and we take pride in offering aid to the numerous dairies and producers in the area. We offer both in-clinic appointments and country calls by providing our associates with a clinic truck with a Vetbox for use. We offer ultrasonography, digital radiology, soft tissue surgery, orthopedic surgery, reproductive services, and routine care. We believe in a strong work-life balance and thus do not receive after hours emergencies. We have a rotating Saturday schedule in which you will be included (8AM to noon). We are privately owned.
