If you have B.Arch, BS. Arch, M.Arch or a MS.Arch and…

are pursuing your architecture license,

have 5+ years of working experience in schematic design through construction documents and construction observation,

have 4+ years of experience with consulting engineer coordination, technical detailing, specification research, and with knowledge of local codes & code research and obtaining agency approvals,

are advanced in using relevant industry software (AutoCAD; Revit; Bluebeam; SketchUp),

are a self-starter and work independently with conflicting deadlines,

are attentive to detail and precision,

Position Summary:

In this position you will:

• Manage In-Office Project Construction Administration
Duties include managing the following tasks:

Project startup.

Review, coordination and tracking/, RFI’s & ASI’s, including regular follow-up on consultant submittals, ensuring that all required engineer reviews are conducted, and all open issues are addressed and resolved.
Sketches.

Review Payment Applications.

Prepare Change Orders.

AUA’s.

Project Closeout under direction of Project Manager.

Addition job duties will include:
• Assist with project construction startup correspondence as well as confirm log receipt, forwarding, and return of correspondence as needed throughout the construction phase and as directed by the Project Manager.

• Set-up, review and confirm new project tracking templates in accordance with a23’s established procedures.

• Update Project Manager with project emails & logs prior to all construction meetings.

• Oversight and preparation of contract-related documents as needed.

• Site visits as needed.

• Compilation of field reports as required.

• Coordination of final site inspection with consultants.

• Prepare punch list.

• Mediate communication between a23’s project managers, the client and/or general contractor, and engineering consultants.

• Provide updated status reports, facilitate operations, and communicate key logistics, milestones, deadlines, delays, etc.

• Coordinate weekly meetings to update design team regarding project statuses.

• Coordinate revisions with relevant project managers and consultants.

• Assist with plan revisions as necessary.

• Upload drawings and necessary supplemental documents to construction software and notify project team as they are made available.

• Assist in providing regular feedback and review of the design to improve the design and construction documentation.
