Aquatics Director
The Aquatics Director shall be responsible for running Bailiwick’s pool during the Term during
the hours of operation as determined by Bailiwick. (Mid-May- Mid September. The pool must
be fully functioning by no later than Friday of Memorial Day Weekend.
Responsibilities shall include:
- Ensure Lifeguards are properly trained and certified.
- Be responsible for scheduling Lifeguards for shifts, ensure lifeguards accurately record
hours worked, and ensure timecards are accurate, complete, and timely submitted.
- Ensure the Lifeguards possess and demonstrate professionalism and excellent customer
service in interactions with members, guests, and staff.
- Be friendly, personable, helpful, and patient.
- Enforce existing rules pertaining to the swim area in a firm but personable manner
- Identify and implement new pool rules as needed and in consultation with Bailiwick.
- Oversee Swim and Dive Team activities and practices including working with coaches to
organize and facilitate swim meets.
- DEVELOP AND EXECUTE EMERGENCY PROCEDRUES, SKILLS, AND SAFETY DRILLS FOR
POOL STAFF
Responsibilities Opening the pool for the season:
- Blow off pool deck.
- Power wash pool deck
- Clean Lifeguard shack.
- Test and balance chemicals multiple times daily.
- Vacuum pool daily
- Clean skimmer baskets
- Check filters and pumps and backwash as needed.
- Recognize non-routine repairs and improvements and recommend if necessary to make
sure for efficient pool operations.

Bailiwick is a member-owned Club located in a beautiful residential settings in Greenwich, CT, opened in 1971.
The Vision: The first open membership club created with no restriction on race, religion or color. The Clubs membership is largely comprised of families from Greenwich, CT and Westchester County, NY.
Bailiwick is highly regarded for its beautifully manicured grounds. You will find seven Har-Tru tennis courts, an Olympic sized swimming pool with diving board and slide, kiddie pool, and three platform tennis courts. A full service Grill and casual eating area are located near the pool deck.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15,000.00 - $25,000.00 per year
