Immediate opening with non-profit agency focused on providing clean and renewable energy for San Diego County - an expanding organization that prioritizes people over profits. Immediate, long-term need for an experienced Admin Assistant who is highly organized and able to 'wear many hats' in providing support to management.

JOB HIGHLIGHTS (not a full description):

Varied administrative support - i.e. calendar maintenance, coordinating meetings, manage conference room reservations, organize/manage inventory, email and file management, assist with PPT creation, maintain mailing lists
Assist with external conferences/meetings - i.e. set-up/breakdown of supplies, vendor coordination, greet and assist guests, catering support, assist with AV set-up
Basic financial support to management - i.e. receipt tracking, staff reimbursements, invoices for administrative contracts and vendors
General office upkeep - i.e. ensure orderly lobby. Kitchen & conference rooms, restock kitchen supplies, water plants
Mail management - i.e. internal distribution and out-going drop offs (to Post Office, FedEx, etc)
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS include (but not limited to):

Minimum 2 years Administrative experience, preferably to include office management
Advanced proficiency with MSOffice Suite, Google Workspace, Adobe platform, experience with virtual meeting applications
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - both verbal and with written correspondence
Strong work ethic with ability to take initiative in a fast paced setting, maintain a pro-active attitude and willingness to learn, be highly detailed and organized
Public agency and/or non-profit experience a plus
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business related field preferred; High School diploma (or equivalent) required at minimum
Positive references from recent work experience
Must be fully vaccinated (Covid-19)
Able to successfully pass Background check and Drug screen, with good driving record
