The Gender & Sexuality Therapy Center (G&STC) is a group private practice offering competent and knowledgable psychotherapy for adolescents, adults, partnerships and families in Midtown and remotely in NY state. We're currently hiring full time and part time fee for service therapists.
G&STC specializes in gender, sexuality and relationships, and provide a range of services, including psychotherapy, supervision, workshops, and consultation.
This is an excellent opportunity for:
LMSW/LCSW/MHC/LMHC seeking experience in a private setting
LCSW/LMHC who are interested in working privately, but don’t want to independently manage the administrative side of being in private practice
LCSW/LMHC who are interested in working privately, but not ready or interested to be in a solo practice
LMSW/LCSW/MHC/LMHC who want to work in a group practice environment
LMSWs who wants to accrue clinical hours in a private setting
LMSW/LCSW/MHC/LMHC who wants to expand their competence regarding working with LGBTQ+, kinky, and non-monogamous folks, and with sexual related issues such as sexual anxiety, sexual pain, sexual functioning, and sexual compulsive behaviors
A queer, trans, kinky and/or poly therapist looking to work within the community and develop a professional therapeutic practice and identity under the supervision and guidance of sex therapists

Duties:
Phone consultations
Full time position: Provides psychotherapy services to a caseload minimum of ~28-30 clients, including individuals, couples, partnerships with 3+ people, and families. Full time is considered 25 completed sessions per week. Smaller caseloads of 20-24 may be possible
Part time position: Provides psychotherapy services to a caseload minimum of ~18 clients, including individuals, couples, partnerships with 3+ people, and families; 1-2 evening/week and weekend day. Part time is considered 15 completed sessions per week. Smaller caseloads of 15 may be possible.
Maintains case notes, treatment plans, and other required documentation
Provide group therapy, as interested/needed
Participates in weekly specialized individual and group supervision
Assists in creation and implementation of G&STC workshops, trainings and seminars as interested/needed
Marketing tasks for self and G&STC
Requirements (Please read carefully and apply only if you meet all listed):
Possess an LMSW, LCSW, MHC, or LMHC and be licensed in New York
Commit to a minimum of 3 years with G&STC (we know this can be intimidating and we are looking for therapists who want of a place to set up roots to come and grow with us!)
Education, training, and demonstrated success in implementing modalities, such as CBT, IFS, mindfulness treatments, trauma-informed practices, somatic treatments, and psychodynamic psychotherapy
Feel comfortable networking and marketing under the guidance of your supervisor
Excellent written and spoken communication skills
Be available and willing to see clients on at least 1 weekend day, early mornings and evenings
At least 1 year of experience in assessment, treatment planning, and providing psychotherapy
At least 1 year of experience in providing individual, couples, multiple partner relationships and/or family therapy
At least 1 year of experience in providing therapy to LGBTQ+, kinky, and non-monogamous individuals and sexual related issues such as sexual anxiety, sexual functioning, sexual pain compulsive sexual behaviors
Must have a high level of competence with gender, sex and sexuality with specific expertise regarding all or some of the follow: working with lgbtq+ folks, alt sexualities, and sexual related issues such as sexual anxiety, sexual functioning, sexual compulsive behavior, sexual discomfort and pain, etc.
Must be highly responsive to email communication, organized, and able to submit progress notes and out of network submission accurately and in a timely manner and in accordance of G&STC policies
Compensation Package:
Onboarding Stipend (Part time and full time: $225)
$40-50 per session depending on licensure and experience (Part time and full time)
Sick pay (Part time and full time: up to 40 hours)
Vacation pay (Full time only: up to 70 hours)
Professional Development Stipend (Full time only: $250/year)
Healthcare Stipend (Full time only: $125/month)
