Little Stars Family Learning Academy in Kissimmee, FL is looking for one pre-k and kindergarten teacher to join our 6 person strong team. We are located on 2422 E. Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy. 

Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, punctual, and engaged.

Responsibilities

   Coordinate and implement educational curriculum by developing classroom activities based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards.

·        Lead by example; encourage the teaching team towards success through modeling and coaching.

·        Plan individual and group age-appropriate activities to actively engage children and encourage social, cognitive, spiritual and emotional growth

·        Maintain frequent progress reports for each child.

·        Ensure all center policies and state regulations are met.

·        Ensure a healthy classroom environment – including maintaining appropriate hygiene and cleanliness standards and safety and security of children.

•       Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement
• Attend meeting frequently .

 

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Education (must)
• Bilingual (preferred)
• 45 DCF Mandatory hours (must)
• CDA Credential with Pre-K training hours (must)
• First Aid and CPR
• FDLE fingerprint
