Roof Inspector
Requirements:
- Able to climb and walk on roofs of various pitches, residential and commercial
- Able to inspect, document, and photograph damages on roofs, interior and exterior structures
- Follow photo and video instructions and upload
- Tech savvy and can adapt to operate new software applications
- Able to tarp a roof
- Fill out scope sheets, insurance forms, and project reports
- Attention to detail
- Ability to read reports, data, statistics and information on computer screens
- Must have reliable transportation to and from Metro-Atlanta-area
- Must have a reliable phone, personal computer, (and preferably tablet)
Preferred:
- Familiar with roof chalk codes for insurance
- Insurance claim management experience
- Familiar with roof installation, damages, and aging
- Familiar with siding, gutters and other construction elements
- Possesses a COI
- Possesses a ladder
- Possesses a drone
Physical requirements:
- Must have excellent stamina
- Position requires good manual dexterity (hand, hand and arm, two hands) and multi-limb coordination
- It also requires the ability to quickly move arms and legs
- Once again, must be able to walk and stand on roofs
- Must be able to climb a ladder
