Welcome to Solution Focused Psychological Services, PLLC (SFPS)! We're so glad that you're considering joining our team.

At SFPS, our mission is to provide culturally appropriate clinical services for the specialty populations that we service to optimize agency assets.

We are a small, private practice that provides forensic assessment services for public safety officials, attorneys, forensic state hospitals, and county/state correctional facilities.

Responsibilities:

As a mental health therapist in our practice, you will:

Conduct psychosocial interviews on 5-8 patients per day.
Attend any mandatory scheduled meetings or trainings to maintain compliance with professional standards and HIPAA practices.
Have opportunities for additional hours as available for psychological assessment training.
Continue to help SFPS grow and maintain our current culture while providing excellent service to all patients and clients.
Additional responsibilities as assigned by the owner.

Qualifications:

Must be licensed in the state of Texas as any of the following: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Psychologist. Your license MUST be an active, independent Texas license,

OR

You must have a pending license number after successfully passing the licensing exam. A related degree and completed state-specific degree and coursework requirements.

Candidates requiring clinical hours and supervision are encouraged to apply as well.

Requirements:

Must pass a finger-print, government background check (annually)
Business casual dress code required
Available minimum of 8 hours per week (primarily Wednesday and/or Thursday)
Reliable transportation to our Dallas Office (remote work not available)
Knowledge of psychological theory and practice
Ability to relate to and empathize with a range of people
Good team working skills
Excellent communication skills
Sensitive listening and questioning skills
Ability to cope with emotionally demanding situations
Ability to work both on your own and with others

Additional Skills:
Familiarity with Google Workspace (Docs, Drive, Sheets, Gmail, etc) preferred
MAC OS software experience preferred
Specialty in forensics is a plus

Job Type: Contract(1099), Part-Time (minimum of 8-16 hours per week). Additional hours may be available in the near future.

Salary: $25-$35/hour
