Mental Health Evaluator
Transitions is currently seeking a Licensed (LPC, LCSW, or Supervised Resident) contractor to administer Mental Health Evaluations for Probation/Parole juveniles. Evaluations consist of reviewing court documents, social history reports and other historical information provided, interviewing client to assess and to make applicable recommendations for treatment if needed. These evaluations usually take about 3 hours and in addition, there is an hour for clinical feedback to client and family of findings.
Seeking a therapist that has at least 2 years of experience in conducting evaluations, providing recommendations, and working with moderately high risk adolescents currently involved with the Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court throughout the state of Virginia.
Licenced in Virginia and/or currently supervised residents are encouraged to apply.
