Medical Gas Installer Apprentice

Doug Egner Plumbing & Medical Gas LLC is statewide medical gas contractor. This is a fast pace atmosphere with traveling all over the state. Installations of new systems and renovations of old systems for all types of healthcare facilities. Facilities range from hospitals, surgery centers, dental clinics, veterinarian clinics and emergency departments. Great work envoriment with all team & A-players.  

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
• ASSE 6010 Medical Gas installer (Will train if not licensed)
• Will train and pay for your licenses 
• Must fill company application out to recieve and interview
• Room for growth within the company

Work Location: STATEWIDE TRAVELING IS REQUIRED.

Paid Per-deim and hotel/lodging are paid by the company.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conducting appropriate communication with co-workers and customers
- Operating knowledge of plumbing and medical gas systems and efficient use of trade tools
- Knowledge and understanding of plumbing and medical gas codes
- Proficient in using hazardous materials, solvents, cleaners, and adhesives
- Ability to perform math computations needed in the trade
- Experience with Copper, brazing and soldering
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, detail sheets, sketches, and schematics
- Ability to communicate effectively and cooperatively with people and follow building,
job site, and department procedures and policies
- Ability to understand technical instructions
- Ability to recognize the importance of safety in the workplace, follow safety rules,
practice safe work habits, utilize appropriate safety equipment, and report unsafe
conditions to the appropriate administrator

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour to start
