As the Market Support Member, you will be responsible for working at least 2 full weekends per month at Farmers Markets throughout the DFW metroplex. Responsibilities include market sales, maintaining meaningful customer relationships, maintaining booth beauty and tidiness and being a brand ambassador for our gourmet foods
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Arriving to Market early to set up.
Learning the full details and usage of our products so you can easily recommend and guide customers.
Ensure customer satisfaction by: providing exceptional service, by offering stimulating + pleasant conversations with customers and by answering customer questions about products
Represent the passion behind our brand as a gourmet food line.
Process customer payments by entering information into POS system (Square).
Maintain booth cleanliness + beauty
Work as a team player to achieve common [sales] goals.
Pack up market booth at the end of the day.
Prepare food samples and serve them to customers.
SCHEDULING:
Saturdays and [potentially] Sundays during peak Farmers Market season. Markets are typically closed between January - May; some market are year round. We aim to offer schedule flexibility within reason, so if you need to request off, we will do our best to fulfill it.
EQUIREMENTS:
Our ideal candidate will have personal or professional experience in at farmers markets
Excellent communication skills with both customers and team members (We love clear, kind, direct communication!)
Outgoing/friendly personality with a positive attitude & willingness to learn
Ability to stay calm in a fast-paced environment
Ability to lift items up to 40-50 pounds (tent and inventory set up)
Problem-solver with attention to detail

Pay rate: $15/hour
