FOOP Organic Biosciences is a specialty organic plant food manufacturing company, located in North Bethesda, Maryland. FOOP utilizes a patent pending formula derived from reclaimed fish poop as an alternative to chemical-based fertilizers.

The Customer Service Assistant will assist with incoming phone calls, emails, live chats and messages on social media.

An ideal candidate will exhibit strong communication skills, the ability to work independently, and an aptitude for solving problems.

Responsibilities:

  • Reply to online chat questions from website
  • Reply to incoming emails, DMs and comments on social media
  • Reply to customer messages received through Amazon, Walmart, eBay
  • Process orders, payments, and refunds accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain customer records and update information as necessary
  • Answer incoming customer phone calls during business hours - guidance & training will be provided
  • Manage customer sample requests
  • Track customer orders
  • Send welcome messages to all new social media followers
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance the customer experience
  • Additional admin help when needed

Skills:

- Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Strong problem-solving abilities to address customer concerns effectively

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order processing and data entry

- Proficient computer skills, familiarity with common social media apps
