An exciting opportunity has arisen for a driven individual to join our team of Behavioral Therapists. The successful candidate will be responsible for working directly with the client and the clients family to the treatment plan crated by our BCBA.

Description:

  • 10-25 hours per week of structured one-on-one interaction/instruction with children with autism spectrum and related disorders in their home and/or in a community setting
  • Behavior Line Technicians provide observational data on the learning progress of their clients using technology-based systems (iPad)
  • Work under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst and alongside a professional team in a collaborative environment

Responsibilities:

  • Provide structured 1:1 interaction & instruction to children on the autism spectrum & other related disorders by providing in-home or community setting Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy
  • Collect & provide observational data on the learning process
  • Implement Behavior Treatment Plans (daily living, social, & play schemes)
  • Work collaboratively with BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) & alongside a professional team to implement individualized treatment plan for clients
  • Document client progress & graph data as instructed
  • Enter electronic data collection in a timely manner & with accuracy
  • Be responsive to the needs & requests of clients, their families, & your supervisor
  • Be goal-oriented & maintain professionalism in all aspects of your work
  • Arrive on time & be prepared for therapy sessions
  • Commit to & follow a weekly schedule with client
  • Willingness & ability to adapt in a variety of situations and changing behaviors

Qualifications:

***FREE RBT COURSE***

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (minimum)
  • Pass background check & Drug Screening
  • Complete the 40-hour training course
  • Reliable transportation & willingness to travel
  • Compassionate, loving, and excellent communication skills (both verbal and non-verbal)
  • Excellent work ethic with the ability to meet scheduling commitments

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Salary: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 – 15 per week
