Hello! This is Xinyi Gao (Cindy). I'm currently looking for an internship in the fields of photography and videography.
While studying Visual Media Arts at Emerson College, I joined the Photography BFA program. I have also been a freelance photographer for the past two years, as well as an illustration photographer for student publications Your Magazine and EM Magazine. In my three years of college, I have worked as part of Emerson�s Photo-Tech Support Team to provide technical assistance in the darkroom and photo computer labs to students when they are developing, editing, scanning, and printing their photography works.
As for my technical skills, I am proficient with a wide array of professional cameras, lighting gear, and lenses. I have taken courses in photo shooting and editing. I am advanced in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
On a personal level, I am a people person with a knack for communicating with models, editors of magazines, and students who need technical help. I am reliable and capable in fast-paced environments, and I always deliver my results on time. When it comes to photo-editing, I am highly organized and I pride myself on being extremely attentive to detail, with an eye for presentation.
