Wilderness Rites of Passage Course

o Studied the historical and contemporary implications of rite of passage ceremonies through the four directions model and traditional stages of severance, threshold, and reincorporation as laid out by Steven Foster and Meredith Little
o Participated in group process, experiential activities, and ritual to dive deep into mental, physical, psychological, spiritual, and Earth-based self-inquiry
o Embarked on a 3-day, 3-night solo vision fast in the Santa Cruz Mountains

o Facilitate discussion groups for a range of topics that are relevant to teen experience

o Participate in group process and planning meetings amongst counselor staff and full camp staff and find solutions to problems that arise amongst participants throughout the week
