WORK EXPERIENCE
Research Support Specialist September 2018 – Present
Histion LLC., Everett WA
- Study Coordinator: I manage the progress of clinical and pre-clinical trial studies from start to finish at a GLP compliant Contract Research Organization that specializes in Histology. Managing multiple studies at once (15+), I make prioritization and time management calls constantly to ensure work is completed in a timely manner. My work relies heavily on maintaining clear communication internally with the Principle Investigator and Laboratory Staff, and externally with the Study Directors and Sponsors (via Microsoft Outlook). I work closely with the Principle Investigator writing protocols, setting up analysis and writing reports (via Microsoft Office Word and Excel, and Adobe Acrobat). I perform regular quality control checks on data to ensure 100% accuracy of our product.
- Image Analyst (Histomorphometrist): I perform image analysis using Image Pro Premier software to quantify areas of interest within tissues. My analysis is completed working closely with the Principal Investigator and Chief Technical Officer to ensure the data generated is accurate.
- Office Manager: In this position I maintain the SOPs, coordinate equipment calibration/service for the laboratory and perform various administrative duties (i.e. website design/maintenance and managing office equipment).

Office Administrator July 2019 – Present
Westlake Dance Center, Seattle WA
- I serve as a part-time host, maintaining the entrance/lobby of a studio by greeting and registering students for dance class. In this position, I open and close the dance studio, manage the daily income and attendance details and provide customer service in person and over the phone.

Natural Sciences Undergraduate Researcher Summer 2017
PLU Biology Department, Tacoma WA
- I worked with the Lead Scientist to documented the distribution of a resistance-breaking strain of Raspberry bushy dwarf virus in the Pacific Northwest. Our team determined virus presence through field work and laboratory assays including ELISA, RNA Extraction, RT-PCR and qPCR.

General Biology Teacher’s Assistant September 2016 – May 2017
PLU Biology Department, Tacoma WA
- I supported students in their laboratory work and assisted the course professor in lab preparation, ensuring proper use of equipment, and promoting students’ learning and success in the lab. Outside of laboratory hours, I assisted the course professor with grading course work, meeting weekly deadlines.

- I developed original lesson plans that engaged middle school students in math through science centered activities to cultivate confidence and inspire student creativity.

Late Night Programmer September 2015 – May 2016

- I planned and hosted weekly events through collaboration with on campus clubs and off campus vendors. I came under budget the two semesters I served in this position, managing the funding allocated to the program to provided safe spaces for students to socialize and engage in activities.

- I lead and organized dance rehearsals that optimized creativity, expression and efficient use of time. In this role I taught self-prepared choreography for performances through verbal communication and movement.

- I supported the Parkland community by organizing, stocking, and distributing food and supplies to the members of the Trinity Food Bank.
