Implemented changes in practice for safer patient care as an active member of the professional development committee on a level 3 neonatal and maternal hospital with a 35-bed postpartum unit with an average of 3,400 deliveries per year.

Selected as an original team member to cross-train for the hospital’s new couplet care approach and floated to nursery on a weekly bases to provide direct patient care to newborn babies starting at 2 hours of life.
