ELECTRIC F ORMULA SAE
� Head of the Electric Formula SAE team
� Oversaw work quality and progress among teammates individual tasks
� Set up weekly meetings, kep t track of component costs, and kept a strict 9 -month timeline
� Designed , tested, and built a new 300 -volt battery system that fit the specifications and limitations
of the desired vehicle
� Designed the battery pack housings in accordance with SAE rule, while adding the least weight
po ssible.
� Placed certain components of the around the car to give the car a lower center of gr avity and final
48% front 52% rear weight distribution
� Collaborated with industry for recommendations , testing procedures, and specifications on
components
� Assigned tasks to members based on skills set and performance to ensure tasks were done in a
timely manner
� Tested potential battery solutions and ran vehicle simulations to validate the amount of energy
needed to perform a lap on a given track
� Analyzed simulation data and made necessary change s to a design to maximize performance.
