My goal is to obtain a position as a Lead Instructional Aid (Actions in Development), where my experience and strong leadership skills I have earned through being an instructional aid will be used to promote student growth and structure through reinforcing the core curriculum that is taught.


Work Experience and Qualifications


Saginaw Township Community Schools, Mackinaw High School, (2018 � 2020)


Worked with students in state mandated core curriculum, grades 9-12th, both in person and virtual.


Lead instructor�s assistant in: Online learning courses, Career exploration, Business Management, as well as Physical & Natural Science, Biology, and multiple in-classroom dissections.


Worked directly with special needs students within the courses listed above, aged 14-23 years old.


Assisted in helping students write scholarship essays, apply for financial assistance, and help them with college orientations.


Highly knowledgeable in all Microsoft applications (Excel, Office, Word, PowerPoint)


Skilled in adapting very quickly to new software and curriculum.


Detail oriented with focus on critical thinking and problem resolution skills.





State of Michigan Rules, Regulations and Monitoring course certification for PSAT, SAT, and ACT testing (2018-2020)


Read instructions to students, timed, and set up classrooms for state guidelines to prepare for testing.


Proctored classroom as testing was in process.


Ensured all guidelines for extra time were followed as aligned and written for special needs students that were allotted special qualifications under Michigan law.

Assisting in reading the exam questions verbally to the students.


Allowing extra time for students with mental impairments as verified by the State of Michigan guidelines.

Saginaw Township Community School District 2x�s nominee for the �Benevolent Leader of Creativity and Kindness� (BLOCK award).


This is a highly coveted district award earned by going above and beyond for outstanding service to the students, school district community, and to fellow coworkers. The nomination for the block award can only be made by peer staff and students and is awarded to teachers who go out of their comfort zone to find new and innovative ways to present curriculum to students to increase understanding and comprehension thereby increasing student�s foundation for success.
