Responsible for monitoring estate sale ads to determine which ones to attend according to location and available items for sale, as well as purchasing, cleaning, organizing, pricing, and displaying acquired merchandise. Private 50 bed nursing home, utilizes both paper and electronic medical records. Provide administrative and clerical support for department managers and staff, distribute office supplies to employees, maintain printer and copy machine, prepare, create, and edit Word documents and forms, utilize creative software to produce monthly resident activity calendar, answer multiline phone, receive and relay messages. Monitor and distribute cash from patient trust, as well as purchase and deliver items requested by residents. Organize, maintain, and archive medical records, thin dated material from active patient charts at nurses’ station, and work with therapy department to locate, scan, and email files for ADRs (additional documentation requests). Complete data entry, to help the nursing home transition from paper documentation to electronic medical records.

February 2014 to February 2019
Private 95 bed nursing home with no filing or organization system for its paper medical records, resulted in an accumulation of stacks of paper and boxes of various patient files from different years intermixed. I was hired by the new owner to independently sort through all the documents, match up patient records by name and date, archive records appropriately, establish a filing system for active and discharged patients, thin dated material from active patient charts at nurses’ station, work with therapy department to locate, scan, and email files for ADRs, provide administrative and clerical support for department managers and staff. Complete data entry, to help the nursing home transition from paper documentation to electronic medical records.
