Work Experience

Space + Light Digital - Photo Producer/Business Development 2020 - Present
Working in production for a photo studio, Ive learned how each position functions in order to carry out my own. I often work with clients and agencies to cast and book talent for projects. Knowledge with Adobe products are essential, as well as CaptureOne and image organization/archival, and on occasion retouching projects. I book freelancers (makeup artists, hair stylists, stylists, photo/videographers, assistants) as well as coordinate with designers to attain samples and organize and prep garments before shoots. As a small run studio with big clients, we all play important roles before, during, and after shoots to maintain quality work.

FlipFit - Photographer/Stylist/Content Creator Jan - Mar 2020
FlipFit is a start-up fashion app with a social media twist. I consistently created content for the feed and user shopping experience. My job was to shoot, style, and direct models on-location, or shoot e-commerce images in-studio with Canon and Profoto equipment, with edits in CaptureOne. I had creative freedom to present ideas on future shoots and make content that represents the brand.

Godaddy - Photographer 2016 - Present
Shoots typically last a couple hours and dont require me to edit. I direct the shoot for the client based on their input but also what we feel their client base would like to see. The photos are used for both social media and client's website.

Freelance - Photographer/Retoucher/Writer 2011 - Present
As a freelancer, I have a long list of job titles. I make connections with brands, stores, models, directors, and other creatives. I often work with talent agencies and collaborate with makeup artists, hair stylists, wardrobe stylists, brands, and store owners to produce content. Networking, brainstorming, creating mood boards, organizing a shoot and call sheet, utilizing studio or natural lighting, working with a variety of cameras, lenses, and other photographic tools, and editing with Adobe products are all part of the job; however, I often find myself playing even more roles in the development of content, marketing for myself or my clients, and productive use of social media.

SB Photography & Design Photographer/Social Media 2014 2019
This is where I learned how to use a camera without glancing down or checking light settings. But its also where I learned to start and grow a following on social media. I often wrote blog posts as well, writing the stories of our current clients, or offering advice for future clients. I grew followers (8k on Facebook) through social media apps and communicated efficiently with followers and clients.

The Pabst Theater Group - House Photographer 2015 2019
My main duties were photographing live shows and editing for social media or news publication by midnight. But I often coordinated shots and shoot placement with tour or house managers. At meet and greets, I aided in organization for fan control when not shooting. Discretion was pertinent in terms of some of our bigger/most celebrated acts, while grabbing some behind the scenes shots for their personal use.
