I started a new Language business, teaching French and Arabic while going to school to get a Master's degree in Human Resources and get my management and computer skills polished.
I was able to have a flexible schedule that allowed me to work, study and take care of my little one.

I worked in Hilton Oakbrook for about 8 months , 8 months but it felt like 8 years of experience.
3 months after I joined , the Hotel was acquired by new owners/ management.
I became the only HR person for 300 employees that needed to be on-boarded again in the new system.
I was the only person taking care of recruiting, trainings ,benefits and payroll.
I admit that I learned a lot from that overwhelming experience, even though I had to work from 8 to 10 or 11 pm doing the job of a whole department alone.
As soon as I trained a new HRD I was ready to resign to go back to school and start my own Business , especially because the commute was too long ( 4 hours a day) and I have an infant.
