ABOUT ME / OBJECTIVE
I’m a life-long learner with an eye for all things marketing and photography. I bring pizazz and spice to everything I touch. When I speak, people are interested. When I move, people notice.
I’m looking to join a team of diverse folks who are satisfied by the work they do and are fulfilled by the lives they touch. Positive energy, smart work, and a respectful sense that we are human before anything else.
WHAT I’VE BEEN UP TO
Media Planner - Noble People (April 2019 - Present)
New York, New York
Working under this small-but-mighty agency, I’ve aided in the success of numerous advertising campaigns for these brands: Hallmark Channel, WeTransfer, ElephantinaBox, and Oscar Health. First joining these teams as an assistant and proving my tenacity with a promotion, I planned million-dollar budgets across digital, television, radio, and social media. Here were some of my responsibilities: negotiating with vendors, managing digital reports, presenting client-facing media plans with rationale, researching demographics and emerging trends, executing social posts across Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and Twitter, accounting for invoices and billing discrepancies, interviewing potential agency employees and supervising assistant tasks.
Founding Member - Taureau Noire (February 2020 - Present)
New York, New York
During my time at Noble People, I founded a dedicated group of Black Excellence with my coworkers. This group served as a safe space and a source of learning about police brutality and systemic racism. Born out of the George Floyd protests, we dedicated resources to noble organizations and started the process to provide professional help for small businesses. Also seeing the lack of diversity within the industry, Taureu Noire created Advertising for the Culture, a HBCU-focused program that brings the real-life foundations of advertising and media to the classroom with post-graduate opportunities.
