Conducting research into policy ideas and case studies to create and organize a policy platform for Circular Triangle-- a non-profit organization which is working to transform the Triangle into a circular economy through advocacy and education.

Researching policy and market dynamics in the run-up to the 2008 financial crisis under Professor Balleisen of Duke University as part of a paid job, utilizing both qualitative and quantitative research skills. Skills gained in text mining, interview coding, and oral history analysis.
Research and Organizing Team Member: Wellbeing Economy Alliance December 2019 - Present
Organized a Hackathon to organize student interest in the resource hub, inform others of the vision of a wellbeing economy, and visualize the shift from our current economic system. Also working to start a WeAll Hub in Durham to organize a movement towards wellbeing economy policies in the community. Working on developing an online resource hub to garner interest in the idea of an economy prioritizing people and planet over profit. This resource hub will be used in partnerships with the governments of New Zealand, Iceland, and Scotland. Also working to start a WEAll Hub in Durham to advocate for wellbeing economics.
Work-Study Position at the Duke Music Library August 2019 - Present
Customer service job at the library help desk at the Duke University Biddle Music Library. Shelve books, retrieve requests, assist with check-out procedures, engage with patrons, and answer phone calls.
Research Assistant: Refugee Education in Durham, NC December 2019 - February 2020
Conducted research for World Relief Durham to gain a better understanding of the educational needs of refugee youth for their refugee resettlement program. Engaged in field work and data analysis; responsibilities included acting as a French translator and transcribing and analyzing interviews. Gained and utilized skills in NVivo, Otter, qualitative research, and interview transcription.
